Where: S = Soil Hydrologic Group weight
B = Basin Type weight
C = Thickness of Hawthorn weight
D = Depth to water weight
The total values were divided into three groups and assigned either a low, medium, or high ranking. The 5-foot potentiometric contour was used to divide discharge areas along the coast from potential recharge areas. The recharge potential map should not be used for site specific recharge assessments nor should it be used as a means to estimate recharge. |
